THE NEWSLETTER
HIGHER WISDOM FOR MINDFUL AGING

Our newsletter intends to promote our services and create brand awareness with our email subscribers. The first step to building a newsletter is to outline the specific intentions of the newsletter.

OUR INTENTIONS

These newsletters aim for people to know who we are, what we do, and why we do it.

WHO WE ARE

·   We are the Contemporary Elder Institute / A Social Enterprise

WHAT WE DO

·   We provide passage from older to elder, age to sage, resignation to renewal, head to heart, and deactivate the default future of aging to a created future of aging.

·   We deliver our work through retreats, twice-a-month group online Zoom calls, and one-on-one and small-group online conversations.

WHY WE DO IT:

·   To disable the damaging cultural conversations of late aging.

·   For members to source a higher consciousness, a greater self-awareness, a spiritual link, a set of disciplines and practices, to be in a like-hearted cohort that enables the last third of life to be life-giving, not life-taking.

·   To have elders' presence, knowledge, and wisdom transform people and their conversations so the common good results.

One area I have come to appreciate and continue to explore is language and its stunning impact. Arnold Siegel, Werner Erhard, and Fernando Flores were the first to open my eyes 45 years ago to the power of language.
