Older vs. Elder
Over the past few years, I’ve focused on being an effective guest on podcasts and national radio broadcasts. With each one, I've learned more about improving my speaking, listening, and presence and setting up the conversation to realize my intention. I’ve learned pace when commercial breaks determine time.
I’ve done enough of these now to set up a structure for fulfillment that better delivers results for myself and the host, makes it easier for me to be self-expressed, and allows for a receptive “listening” about Elder. At the same time, the host gets a strong production and heightened audience engagement.
The intention was clear from the beginning – to make Older-to-Elder a living reality for those seeking a path other than just growing old.
Nearly every host has opened the broadcast with the same question after intros. I know I will get this question because I send this list below for them to consider before our interview.
“What is the difference between Older and Elder?”
Any line can be used by the host to develop their questions.
THE DASH BETWEEN OLDER TO ELDER
The dash (-) on every line between Older to Elder is part of the path to becoming an elder.
